Nutritional intervention

It is well known that a healthy diet reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, that diets are successful by sickness, food restrictions are necessary in case of allergies (IgE immunological reactions) and temporary food adjustments are needed for intolerances (IgG-non-immunological reactions) to limit further damage. Not fully treated food allergies and intolerances, tensions, poor dietary habits, environmental pollution and long-term medication and supplementation use are factors that all cause inflammation in the body. All these factors are partly dependent on a (temporary) change in the immune system. With long-term changes, the production of IgA will decrease, so that our defenses against infections and allergens will decrease, which ultimately causes complaints. People with a reduced IgA develop acquired deficiencies more quickly, causing failure in the metabolism.

Laboratory research IgG antibodies is used to support a recovery process and to reduce or eliminate unexplained complaints. Our microorganism (gut microbiome) and gut mucosa play the leading role in our gut health. The immune system of the intestines is the largest of the whole body, more than 80% of the immune reactions come from the intestines. It ensures an almost impenetrable barrier against foreign proteins derived from foods. Our body has a great tolerance to food, provided that it is properly digested and passes through the intact intestinal wall in the intended way, namely through the intestinal cells. However, due to medications, infections, fungi, stress and environmental pollution, the integrity of the intestinal wall can be damaged multiple times and nutrient particles can slip between the intestinal cells. The immune system can then begin an immune response against these food proteins.
With continuous incorrect nutrition, this can react anarchically, which can lead to headaches, joint pain, bloating, stomach and intestinal complaints, but also eczema, psoriasis, acne and certain autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes) and overweight.

  • Via IMMUNOFOOD BV you can request nutrition-related laboratory tests

Nutritional intervention plan
An individual nutritional intervention plan are obtained from all laboratory results, already diagnosed conditions, medication and supplement intake. We translate and process all this data from you into a personal nutritional plan.

The personal nutrition intervention plan includes the following points of attention:

  • The interpretation of laboratory results from your doctor, not older than 3 months.
  • Result analysis of external specific allergy laboratories
  • Merging all test results and connections create different values
  • Product knowledge, food science, label and E-number reading, cross-reactions
  • Substitute products and the contribution to vitamin and mineral intake
  • Eating guidelines for optimal digestion and optimal enzyme functions
  • Supplementing if necessary for digestion and enzyme systems
  • Acid – base balance and the distribution of macro- and micronutrients, fiber and ferments
  • Specific additions of individual details (following laboratory tests)
  • In advance consultation, we can make a personal nutrition elimination-in-rotation schedule
    ( see page elimination-in-rotation scheme )
